Machine is designed to perform regrinding of I.C. engine crankshafts and they can also be used  for outer grinding of bars and shafts of steel mills, paper mills..

The machine is equipped with all accessories allowing immediate use.

The extreme reliability of the Crankshaft Grinders of this series adds to the following features:

• Automatic table traverse extremely smooth and even, even at the slowest speeds, without any vibration or or stick-slip problems. The evenness of traverse is assured by an oversized electromechanical control unit as well as by a rational and experimented lubrication system for the   slideways;
• Top geometric precision and surface finish of the crankshaft being ground because of the extreme sensitivity of the table movement and the stiffness of the wheelhead assembly. In fact, the wheelspindle, in order to withstand the working stresses, is supported, on more than 50% of its length, by special plain bearings whose lubrication is constantly assured by a simple an reliable contrivance; 
• No handling problems whatever dimensions and weight the crankshafts might have because of the possibility to have a perfect balance of the mass in rotation, thus avoiding and torsional stresses. During the balancing stage, the headstock spindle is completely disengaged from the kinematic drive chain and It is therefore in the best conditions to allow sensitive feeling of the eventual unbalance;
• Setting up and centering of the crankshaft are particularly fast and accurate, this being made possible by compact workheads featured by micrometer movements. The check, with readings to hundredths of a millimetre, is carried out with the help of a number of devices in standard outfit.
• Top safety also from the point of view “accident prevention”, by protecting all of the rotating components, not involved in machining, by guards and by a number  of automatic and manual safety devices. Also, the noise emission level is kept within optimum conditions.
